Second Annual Promise Walk San Jose 

Date: Sunday, May 6th, 2012 Location: Vasona Lake County Park
Distance: 5K (3.1 mile walk or optional 1 mile loop)

Event Schedule:

9am     Registration and Raffle Ticket Sales Open
            Crafts for kids, balloon animals provided by Hey You Balloon Lady
            Coffee and tea service courtesy of Peet's Coffee Camden Park
            Hobee's coffeecake and fruit donated by Whole Foods Market Los Gatos
            Cookies provided by Party Girl Cookies
            Kids' snacks by HAPPYFAMILY, cake bites from Nothing Bundt Cakes
            Martial Arts demonstrations by World Class Tae Kwon Do

9:45    Opening Ceremony Begins
            Guest Speaker: Preeclampsia survivor Monica Durham
            Guest Speaker: Dr. Kay I. Daniels, Lucile Packard Children's Hospital
            Live dove release from Bay Area Doves 

10:30  Walk Begins 
            Water for all walkers donated by Fresh & Easy
            Raffle ticket sales end

11:45   Raffle Prize winners announced; closing remarks
12:00   End
            
Sports Basement will be supplying walker bags this year with samples from Emergen-C, bars from Whole Foods Market, coupons from HappyFamily and more! Supplies limited to those who register early!
